I was thinking the other day, would the stem cell issue be different if we could extract crude oil from them?

I would still oppose Amendment 2 because there is no need to amend the constitution to allow the research.
It is possible to have research done without government sponsorship, contrary to popular belief.
I would probably vote against an amendment banning stem cell research, too.
